The 16th tee has been reconstructed and doubled in size and the 1st tee has been rehabilitated (again). I hope to have both opened by Memorial Day or sooner of all goes well.

You may have noticed a few trees missing. The official count is 74. The purpose is to allow more sunlight to the turf during the growing season and more importantly during the late winter and early spring. The 9th & 18th greens were always the last to loose snow cover and the turf quality suffered for it. The 13th green became a bed of acorns & oak leaves. Also the root system of the trees reached well into the greens only a few inched under the surface. They competed with the grass roots for water and nutrients.
